    THE SWEET FRAGRANCE OF A MEMORY
    My parents divorced when I was three. My mom took the divorce really hard, so I lived with my grandparents until she could get herself situated. I was born in Rock Island Illinois in 1976 and I lived with my grandparents till I was six years old. I vaguely remember those times, but the little that I do recall was wonderful. My mom moved me to Texas with her in 1982. I really didn’t have much of a childhood, because my mom was single and worked two jobs. I was home alone quite often and we moved
